Nurturing Tomorrow’s Agriculture Professionals Through Prayash Syngenta Scholarship

Syngenta Bangladesh celebrated the Prayash Syngenta Scholarship 2025, initiated by Syngenta Bangladesh in association with The Daily Star. The scholarship certificates were formally handed over by Hedayet Ullah, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh, and Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star, underscoring a shared commitment to nurturing young talent to strengthen the national agricultural sector.

The Prayash Scholarship this year supported 150 promising final-year agricultural students from 13 universities selected through a rigorous and transparent evaluation process from 760 applications nationwide. This follows the program’s inaugural year in 2024, when 251 students from 12 universities received this scholarship. The initiative reflects Syngenta Bangladesh’s continued commitment to investing in young talent and strengthening the future of sustainable agriculture in Bangladesh.
